In some news that, let’s face it, won’t come as any real surprise, Spike have moved to cancel The Mist after just one season.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the series has been canned with dwindling ratings being cited as the primary reason. Despite grabbing 1.2 million viewers for its US premiere, the show quickly struggled to push past the 800,000 mark for subsequent episodes and soon struggled to even crack the top thirty scripted shows on US television when it came to viewing figures.
Here in the UK, The Mist found its home on Netflix. Despite many genre fans wanting the show to succeed, it soon became apparent
