There were rumours of the character appearing in DC's Legends of Tomorrow when that show was being put together, but it’s now been revealed that Black Lightning is to get his own TV series.
Deadline has word that Greg Berlanti is working with The Game’s Mara Brock and Salim Akil to develop the series. Berlanti, of course, has helped put together shows like Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. At present, Berlanti, Brock and Akil are looking for a home for Black Lightning.
